Healthy eating is now a lot more popular than in the past and rightfully so. The overall economy is impacted by the number of people who suffer from health conditions such as hypertension, which is directly associated with poor eating habits. Wherever you look, people are encouraging you to live a more healthy way of living but then again, you are also being encouraged to rely on fast foods that can affect your health in a bad way. Most likely, a lot of people believe that it takes too much work to eat healthily and that they will need to drastically alter their lifestyle. Contrary to that information, people can change their eating habits for the better by carrying out some modest changes.
You can make similar changes with the oils that you use to cook your food. For instance, monounsaturated fat such as olive oil can be helpful in offsetting the bad cholesterol in your diet. Olive oil also provides vitamin E which is great for your skin, among other things. It could be that you already think that you consume fruit and veggies but it can be worthwhile considering how fresh these are depending on where you get these. If at all possible, go for organic produce that has not been sprayed with harmful pesticides. If you can locate a good local supplier of fresh fruit and leafy greens, you can also consume foods that have not lost their nutrients because of storage or not being picked at the right time.
Obviously, it’s easy to begin incorporating healthy eating into your life.

The ingredients needed to cook White bean truffle dip:
- Take 1 head garlic
- Use Drizzle of olive oil
- Prepare 1/2 (400 g) can of butter beans, drained and rinsed
- Prepare 1 1/2 tbsp truffle oil + 1 tsp or so to serve
- Get Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Provide sea salt and ground white or black pepper
Instructions to make White bean truffle dip:
- Preheat oven to 190C.
- Peel the papery bits off the garlic - but leave the cloves in their skins. Chop the tops off. Place in a piece of silver foil in an ovenproof dish. Drizzle with olive oil. Wrap the garlic in the foil. Cook for about 35 mins in the oven.
- When the garlic is ready, leave it to cool so you can handle it. When you squeeze the cloves, the flesh will ooze out of the skin.
- Put the beans in a bowl. Add the garlic and everything else. Mash together. Add up to a tablespoon of water if you want. You can do this in a blender as well but it’s not necessary. Season according to your taste.
- That’s it! Before serving, drizzle a teaspoon of truffle oil on top. Enjoy 😋
